Call Records
The Operations Division responded to 6,026 calls in 2018, and saw this number increase to 6,192 in 2019. The different types of calls responded to include emergency medical calls, structure fires, rescues, wildland fires, automobile accidents, boating accidents, drowning, alarm activations, lockouts, and a variety of other incidents.
The statistics for Fire / Rescue and EMS calls for the last several years are as follows.

These calls are covered by a staff of 96 certified personnel. Strategic placement of five fire stations throughout the city, allows us to respond to each call quickly; arriving on scene in an average of five minutes.
