December 19, 2023 - Joint City Council and Planning and Zoning Commission Public Hearing

AM23-06; Multi-Tenant Pole Signs – Consider amendments and changes to the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance, No. 82-73, same being Appendix D of the Code of Ordinances as follows: Section 60, Sign Standards relative to On-Premise Signs and Pole Sign Conditional Uses.

CU23-33; 7-Eleven – submitted by Jennifer Derenski for property located at 3580 North Grapevine Mills Boulevard and platted as Block A, Lot 1A1, Grapevine Mills Crossing Addition. The applicant is requesting a conditional use permit to amend the previously approved CU2019-02 (Ord. 2019-006) for a master site development plan for gasoline sales and off premise consumption of alcoholic beverages (beer and wine only) in conjunction with a convenience store. This request is specifically to revise the floor plan to allow for a Laredo Taco Company restaurant within the existing 7-Eleven convenience store and gas station. The property is zoned “CC”, Community Commercial and is owned by Perry Dodge, 7-Eleven, Inc.

Z23-09; 711 East Wall Street – submitted by Neal Cooper for property located at 711 East Wall Street and located in the Archibald F. Leonard Survey, Abstract 946, Tract 51B01A, proposed to be platted as Block 1, Lot 1, Martha’s Vineyard. This request is to rezone 0.230 acre from a “HC”, Highway Commercial District to a “R-7.5”, Single-Family District for the purpose of developing a single-family residential dwelling. The property is zoned “HC”, Highway Commercial District and is owned by Steve Koomar.
