The Artisan Market takes place every year on the first weekend of December. Market hours are 10am-5pm on Saturday and 10am-5pm Sunday. Set-up is all day on Friday and/or Saturday morning, prior to opening. Take-down is from 5pm – 6pm on Sunday*.
The Artisan Market is a fund-raiser for the Friends of the Grapevine Public Library. The booth fee is either $20 or 10% of your gross sales, whichever is greater. Vendors are encouraged to round their 10% to the nearest 5 or 0. For example, round $38 to $40 or $52 to $55.
Vendors are responsible for their own sales and sales tax.
Expectations:
• All work must be original and artisan-made.
• Books must be authored and/or illustrated by the vendor.
• The booth and work exhibited must be consistent with the quality and style of work in the images submitted with your application. Displays must be professional and aesthetically pleasing.
• Participants are expected to respond to emails and questions from the organizer in a timely manner.
• Participants are expected to promote the market through social media and other channels.
• Participants are expected to interact with customers and fellow vendors in a helpful, positive manner.
• Participants are expected to be on time and to respect the show schedule.
• Participants MUST BE present for the duration of the show.
• Participants must provide 3-5 examples of their work for display in the library display cases during the entire month of November.
*Please let the organizers know in advance if you need more than 1 hour to take down your display.
