Join us for our second evening of live music under the stars in October in the Botanical Gardens at Heritage Park. Bring a blanket or chair to relax under the fall sky and enjoy live music. Light refreshments will be available for purchase or you may bring your own food and beverage. No glass or pets allowed. Children's gardening activities will be available at the Ed & Edith Pewitt Educational Pavilion during the concert series and garden docents will also be available to answer gardening questions. Hale Baskin is endowed with a clear, beautiful voice, a sure sense of swing, and a seemingly innate sense of the nuances of Jazz phrasing. She channels songbirds of the 1940's Big Bands to Ella Fitzgerald-inspired Jazz favorites, all the way to Motown, soul, and down-home blues.
