[ARCHIVED] Christmas in July

Santa Cops Flyer 2

The Grapevine Police Santa Cops program typically serves hundreds of local families in the community, in partnership with various businesses, organizations and volunteers.

While gifts for younger children are easier to come by in donation bins, Christmas gifts for teens and tweens are more rarely thought about. As a way to promote inclusion of all ages and needs, the Grapevine Community Outreach Center is holding a Christmas in July drive, with help from the Grapevine Chamber of Commerce and House of Shine.

Donation bins will be in place throughout the month of July at the Grapevine Chamber, located at 200 Vine Street, and House of Shine, located at 334 South Barton Street.

Suggested items include earbuds, selfie lights, funko pops, instant print cameras, and any other cool teen gifts.

Anyone wanting to donate teen Christmas gift items after July can do so by contacting Community Outreach Manager Haydee Young at: hhall@grapevinetexas.gov or 817.751.8972.
