Comfort and Joy Donation Drive - Share the gift of giving to Grapevine animals in need.

The holidays are here and North Texas animal shelters are asking people to help brighten the season for the thousands of shelter animals in North Texas.  "Animals in our care are deserving of a gift that can make the needed difference during their stay with us.  Dogs and cats enjoy a warm blanket to snuggle in or a special toy to enrich them.  Treats can help encourage an animal who is under stress to feel a little more comfortable.  We love receiving items of Comfort and Joy for our animals.", says Kristina Valentine, Grapevine Animal Services Manager.

During the Comfort and Joy Donation Drive in Grapevine, we are requesting blankets, toys, and treats.  The Comfort and Joy Drive is scheduled from December 1 to January 2.

Giving is easy. Donations can be made via our Amazon Wish List https://a.co/g1p2W59 or by dropping off collected items to Grapevine Police Department located at 1007 Ira E Woods.

Needed items include:

  • Clean and washed blankets, new or gently worn, no fringe, stuffing, or decorative items on the blankets.
  • For dogs: Durable dog toys, Bully sticks, soft treats
  • For cats: Plastic toys, small toys that can be swatted, soft treats
