[ARCHIVED] Santa Cops 2020

Smiling Grapevine Police officer unloading a Christmas bicycle from patrol vehicle

The Grapevine Police Santa Cops program is excited to enter its 25th anniversary of helping children. It was started in 1995 by now retired Officer Margie Salame. Santa Cops delivers donated toys to economically disadvantaged children in the community. Through this program, Christmas wishes are fulfilled to over 800 area children each year.

Santa Cops is funded entirely by local donations. It is organized and implemented by Grapevine Police officers, their families and community volunteers. Santa Cops would be non-existent without the extreme generosity of the people in this great community!

How can you help Santa Cops?

Santa Cops accepts toy donations at our Santa Shoppe, located in the Target shopping center at 1217 W. SH-114, Suite 112. This year, we've added a red Santa Cops Donation Drop Box outside the Shoppe for a fast, convenient and safe curbside drop-off option.

Santa Cops also accepts cash donations, which can be dropped off at the Grapevine Public Safety Building (1007 Ira E. Woods Avenue) and/or the Community Outreach Center (3010 Mustang Drive) during regular business hours.

How else can you help Santa Cops?

Anyone wishing to volunteer to wrap toys can assist on December 8, 10 and 15 from 5 p.m. - 9 p.m. at 1217 W. SH-114, Suite 120 (Grapevine Towne Center). Due to COVID-19, we will be limiting the number of volunteers to 60. Pre-registration is required so please click here.

Self-monitoring protocols will be in effect and masks will be required.

For additional information, please contact Sergeant Jason Keller at 817.914.4392.
