Summer Space Odyssey: Adults

A Summer Space Odyssey: Adults 2019 begins May 31 and ends July 31! 

Prize drawing participants for this program must be at least 18 years old to enter.​​

Grapevine Public Library encourages you to read books at home or listen to audiobooks during your summer travels. Yes, eBooks count! 

How Does it Work? 

  • Sign up from May 31 through July 31 at the Adult Summer Reading Desk located in the library or online at our website.
  • Submit an entry for each book read or listened to at the Adult Summer Reading Desk located in the library or online at our website.
  • We will have drawings on each Thursday starting June 13 through August 1 to determine the winners of our incentives. The prizes consist of bookbags, writing journals, and various other products, coupons, and gift cards donated from restaurants and businesses in Grapevine. The Friends of the Library have also generously donated several gift certificates to be given away.

Summer Space Odyssey: A Flute Concert
Flutissimo Flute Choir comprising of 33 flutists will musically transport you to the stars, the moon, the sun and the Milky Way.
The Performance also includes piano and percussion music. For All Ages.
Sunday, June 30 at 3 p.m.

UFOs
Nate Riddle, Texas native and author of Saucers: Searching for UFOs in Texas will give a special presentation on the mystery of UFOs. For ages 10 to Adult.
Saturday, July 20 at 2 p.m.
