Summer Space Odyssey: Kids
Join us this summer at Grapevine Public Library for a universe of stories! We have some fabulous events this summer to go along with our Summer Space Odyssey reading program.
We invite you to join us for some of the following, fabulous events for children this summer:
Brett Roberts’ Space Magic Show
Friday, May 31 at 11 am for all ages
Space Magic is a fun and fast-paced magic show with lots of audience participation and alien puppets from all over the galaxy.
Solar System Ambassador Sarah Twidal
Friday, May 31 at 2 pm for elementary school ages and up
NASA’s Solar System Ambassadors program works with volunteers across the nation to share the science and discoveries of NASA’s missions. This program will focus on the moon and the historic lunar landing.
Mobile Planetarium Shows presented by the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History
Saturday, June 1 from 11 am to 4 pm, with shows presented every 30 minutes.
Mad Science: Moon Odyssey
Sunday, June 2 at 3 pm for all ages
It's the 50th anniversary of the landing of the first human on the moon! Kids of all ages will size up the universe, discover and explore space, and become Mad Science Astronauts to find out the best ways to stay safe in the vastness of our universe.
