[ARCHIVED] Supervisors School

Supervisor school grad.png

Sgt. Spillers and Sgt. Meador graduated February 24 from the School of Police Supervision at the Institute for Law Enforcement Administration - ILEA. The course included topics like Conflict Resolution, Leadership, Motivation, Stress Management, Media Relations, and Ethics in Law Enforcement.

The course is designed for supervisors and mid-level managers, with a focus on the social and personal adjustments for law enforcement supervisors who are transitioning from street policing.

Training looked at how to move into a servant-led employee organization, how to identify behaviors associated with domestic violence, how to confront and correct errors, honoring boundaries, ideas for preventing terrorist attacks, and case law.

We are proud to have supervisors who constantly strive to be better for themselves, the officers they oversee, and the community we serve. Great work, Sgt. Spillers and Sgt. Meador!
