Fire Protection Systems Submittals

Fire protection systems require plan review by a 3rd party reviewer.
Submit your plans to the 3rd party reviewer, (see the construction checklist)
After review, pick up your plans and permit from the Grapevine Fire Department.

Permits

(GFD does not currently charge for Permits)
A permit is required to install or modify systems and equipment of
fire protection & alarm systems,

Submittals

Plans and documents that require a permit as noted above shall be submitted in both paper and on PDF image form.
Documents and PDF images submitted that require a 3rd party review must be stamped by the reviewer and the submitted documents and PDF reflect the reviewed stamp prior to the permit being issued.
Reviewed plans shall be kept on site along with the permit until final inspection or test.
