Take Me Home™ is a program developed by Pensacola Police Department for people who may need special assistance in the event of an emergency. The Grapevine Police Department offers this local registry for adults and children in the community who may have difficulty communicating due to a developmental or cognitive disability.  The database includes a current digital picture, demographic and emergency contact information for all registered individuals.

The information given is confidential and is restricted to law enforcement in the event of an emergency.

HOW WILL THIS REGISTRY HELP?

If the individual becomes missing and is reported to law enforcement, demographic information along with the uploaded photo, preferred communication methods, discussion points, triggers as well as calming techniques can be accessed to help in the reunification efforts.
