Our structural steel arrives and the building begins to take vertical form.

The foundation is poured--the very basis of everything that this shelter will provide to the animals and community is laid.  The view here is from Shady Brook Dr. facing north.  The left side of the foundation is where the shelter vehicles enter.  The middle of the building is the public entrance.  To the right, there is a community room and outdoor courtyard for dogs and people.

January-March 2020

The site is prepared.  Much of the work that happens is underground with utilities.  Earthwork happens to level the site.  The site sloped down in elevation to the north so fill dirt needed to be brought to the site.

The shelter, built in 1992, is demolished.
