If a person has been bitten by any animal, domestic or wild, it is required by state and local law to report it to the local rabies control authority. In Grapevine, Grapevine Animal Services is responsible for ensuring proper rabies investigation and quarantine of any animal that has bitten a person.

--Date of incident
--Description of animal
--Name and address of animal owner, if known, or location where animal may be found
--Location where incident occurred
