Register To Vote
The last day to register to vote in the May Election is Thursday, April 4. Voter registration applications are available in City Hall or at the Grapevine Public Library. The application can also be downloaded from Tarrant County Elections at bit.ly/2UgacIR [https://www.tarrantcounty.com/en/elections/Voter-Information/Voter-Registration/Register-to-Vote-or-Change-Your-Voter-Registration.html] . General City Election – May 4
The General City Election to elect City Council Place 3 and City Council Place 4 will be held on Saturday, May 4. Polls will be open from 7 am – 7 pm. On Election Day, voters can only vote at The REC, 1175 Municipal Way. Early Voting will take place from April 22 – April 30. During this time, voters may cast their ballot at The REC, 1175 Municipal Way, or any polling location in Tarrant County.

2nd Annual Grapevine Rotary Club’s Annual Rubber Duck Race - Thursday, April 4
The Grapevine Rotary Club is hosting their 2nd Annual Rubber Duck Race at The REC Indoor Aquatic Center. Thousands of little rubber ducks will be dropped into the lazy river for a race to the finish line. 100% of all proceeds support Grapevine Rotary Club community programs such as scholarships for high school seniors, computers for kids, Special Olympics, RYLA, Feed Our Kids, and American Flags on Main Street.

The REC of Grapevine – April Incentive
Participate in a fitness assessment with one of our personal trainers and receive a “My Fitness RECord Log Book”. This fitness log, produced specifically for The REC, allows you to set daily and weekly goals. Each page is weekly, Sunday – Saturday and includes space for your cardio and strength training information and notes. Assessments include body measurements, a variety of short fitness level tests, and great information from our trainers. 27th Annual New Vintage Wine and Gallery Trail & Blessing of the Vines – Saturday, April 13
Raise a toast to the good life at Grapevine's 27th Annual New Vintage Wine and Gallery Trail & Blessing of the Vines. A “tasting passport” will be required and will serve as your ticket at the various wineries. You may obtain your tasting passport at the Convention and Visitors Bureau, 636 South Main Street. Adding to the day’s festivities, the Blessing of the Vines will take place. During this centuries-old tradition, a priest bestows a blessing on the vineyards for an upcoming fruitful season and harvest, and on the newly produced wines from the prior year's yield. This event is for participants ages 21 and older (only). Grapevine Garden Club Plant Sale - Saturday, April 13
Color your world with plants at this year's Garden Club Annual Plant Sale [https://business.facebook.com/events/2484198668319971/?active_tab=discussion] at the Botanical Gardens. The sale features heirloom perennials, butterfly nectar and host plants and a wide selection of other plants appropriate for this area. For the first time during the event, there will be a children’s potting area where the first 200 children can decorate and plant a pot under the direction of Master Gardener interns. In addition, this year’s event will boast a wide variety of succulents, herb pots, hanging baskets, gently used gardening books, and vintage pots.

Babysitter’s American Red Cross Training - Saturday, April 13
This eight-hour babysitting course covers a variety of topics including preventing accidents and illnesses, basic first-aid, reviewing choking procedures, rescue breathing, and making professional decisions while babysitting. The class is 90% participation. All successful participants will receive certification in babysitting and a babysitting training book.
