       Each book is one entry into the weekly drawing. The more you read, the better your chances!
                    
Yes, Adults can win prizes too!  The Grapevine Public Library encourages you to read books at home or listen to audiobooks during your summer travels.  Yes, eBooks count!

                                              How Does it Work?

*Sign up at the Adult Summer Reading Desk located in the Library or online.  The program starts June 5th and ends August 1st. 

*Complete one entry form for each book read or listened to.

*Submit your entries at the Adult Summer Reading Desk located in the Library or online from the library website.

*We will have drawings on each Thursday, starting Thursday, June 18th through Thursday, August 6th to determine the winners of our incentives.  The prizes are products, coupons and gift cards donated from restaurants and businesses in Grapevine.  The Friends of the Library have also generously donated several gift certificates to be given away.

                                                 Adult Programs

Saturday, June 20th  2:00 p.m.  A Hawaiian Escape with the Island Crew Entertainers  
Enjoy a musical and dance celebration of hula! Learn the history of both ancient and modern hula dance. Take a glimpse into Polynesian cultural entertainment from Tahiti to New Zealand. Experience a hula dance performance and the sounds of the traditional hula drums. This is sure to be a fun, educational event for the whole family.

Sunday July 19th  3 p.m.  Steampunk Jewelry Making with Morrighan Lynne
Steampunk jewelry making combines part Victorian Era, part Industrial Revolution, and part futuristic sci-fi reality for a creative blend of time and industry in wearable art. Join Ms. Lynne as you learn the history of Steampunk while creating a fun piece of jewelry representative of the exciting science fiction subgenre known as Steampunk. This program is open to tweens, teens, and adults.

Saturday, July 25th  2:00 p.m.  3 For All: Musical Trio
Rick Karnes, Janee Trasler, and Cinny Adkins perform bluegrass, southern gospel, old style country, folk music, and songs of the '40s and '50s with a strong emphasis on close harmonies. Come one, come all for 3 for All!
