Applications are only accepted for open and posted positions and all employment opportunities will be listed on the webpage of the City of Grapevine Personnel Department.

"Job Interest Cards" may be filled out for all positions within the city and you will be notified by e-mail when applications are being accepted for the position. Further information regarding the Job Interest Cards may be found on the Personnel Department webpage as well.


Firefighter/Paramedic Requirements

At the time of testing: Minimum age of 19 with a high-school diploma or equivalent.

Applicant must be certified as a Basic Firefighter by Texas Commission on Fire Protection AND certified as a Paramedic by the Texas Department of State Health Services.

Applicant must be able to acquire a valid TX driver's license with a good driving record and must obtain a Class B license within 90 days of employment. Applicant must have no more than $1,000 in past due or collections and will be verified by credit check. Applicant must pass written tests, physical agility test, and polygraph examination.
