Master Composter Training

Master Composter is a community-based program of citizen education and volunteer development to promote cost-effective and environmentally responsible yard-care practices, with backyard composting as its main focus.

The City of Grapevine in partnership with The North Central Texas Council of Governments, and The State of Texas Alliance for Recycling are now accepting registrations for the 2017 Master Composter Certification Training.  Two training classes will be offered at the Grapevine Botanical Gardens at Heritage Park in the Bessie Mitchell House.  Participants will receive 15 hours of classroom and hands-on instruction. Graduates will receive books and workshop materials for their personal use.  Classes are free to Grapevine residents.
