Grapevine’s Lake Parks offer a wide variety of passive and active recreation. There are a million ways to enjoy your leisure time around Grapevine Lake. Spend your time keeping fit while kayaking, trail running, mountain biking or kite boarding, or take the slow road with a sunset picnic, shore fishing or a leisurely walk through one of our nature trails.

Meadowmere Park *currently completely closed due to flooding*
3000 Meadowmere Ln. 
This park boasts 288 acres of recreational opportunity, primitive camping, kayak and standup paddleboard rentals, a designated swim beach, playground, shaded picnic tables and a nature trail. Lakeview Park

Lakeview Park is a quiet park on the shore side of one of Grapevine’s most picturesque neighborhoods. This park is home to an extensive trail system, shaded picnic sites, playground, group pavilion, boat ramp and a stop along The Grapevine Lake Paddling Trail.

Horseshoe Trails
(East Access) 2500 Horseshoe Trail, (West Access) 1500 Horseshoe Trail
A favorite of local walkers, trail runners and mountain bikers. This 5.5 mile trail has both a hard surface path and a well maintained network of snaking soft surface routes. Maintained in partnership with the Dallas Off Road Bicycle Association, Horseshoe Trail is popular destination for many outdoor enthusiasts.

McPherson Slough
2500 Catfish Ln.
Nestled in one of Grapevine Lake’s best fishing coves, McPherson Slough is a great place to launch your boat, enjoy a picnic under the oak trees or drop a line off the public fishing pier. This park is at the intersection of the Oak Grove Trail and Horseshoe Trail, a perfect location for the backyard of the Lake Grapevine Runners and Walkers clubhouse. 

Oak Grove Park
1299 Oak Grove Loop N.
Home of Grapevine’s renowned tournament baseball and soccer complexes, Oak Grove Park is the largest Lake Park in Grapevine. There is a ton of open space in this park to fly a kite or get together for family games. With three boat ramps and ample parking, Oak Grove Park is a premier location for watersport enthusiasts and fishermen.

Katie’s Woods Park

Katie’s Woods is a quaint lakefront park and the location of Grapevine’s high water boat ramp. This park is an excellent location for shore fishing along the rocky coves and has a wonderful nature trail that extends through the dense woods out to scenic bluffs overlooking the lake..

Rockledge Park
This premier photo shoot location with its amazing bluffs, beach areas and lake and sunset views also offers a large group pavilion, access to the Northshore Trail system, an on-site park store, picnic tables and the best summer fireworks viewing in the area.
