    Tents create a play town with fire station, vet, school/library, grocery store, mechanic, house, and camping/fishing. Children must be accompanied by an adult caregiver; please pick up after yourselves. Please note: Imagination Town will continue through May, but will not take place during the summer while the older children are out of school. Instead we will offer an additional day of Brain Builders. Imagination Town will return to the Fall schedule when the older children return to school.

  6. Birding & Habitat Hike

    January 28, 8:30 AM

    Birding & habitat hike on January 28 at the new Wall-Farrar Nature Trail beginning at 8:30am. The hike will be led by Dr. Ray Chancellor, our own local birder and ecologist who has been an active birder over 50 years, both as a bird photographer and 25 years as a bird bander for the Federal and Texas Wildlife departments. He is actively involved with the development of the Southlake Ornithological Society and it past president of the Central Texas Audubon Society. He has dedicated his efforts to preserve the local area’s wonderful natural history heritage and ecosystem. He is a Director Emeritus of Bob Jones Nature Center Board of Directors. Join us on this special hike celebrating Habitat Preservation Week and enjoy a walk to learn about habitat and its importance to wildlife survival.
