The REC - South Gym Closed for Renovations 

To ensure our residents have the safest and best facilities, we are replacing the floor in the south gym. The current flooring is the original from 1996 when the Community Activities Center was constructed. The north gym floor was replaced last year and will be accessible during the south gym floor renovation. We anticipate six-weeks for completion of this work.  We thank you for your patience and understanding and apologize for any inconvenience. Cotton Belt Trail Repairs – Through Mid-April 

Attention bikers and walkers, Cotton Belt Trail repairs continue next week. Temporary trail closures will be in place with accompanying message boards, barricades, and sidewalk closure signs redirecting cyclists and pedestrian traffic. The trail has been divided into sections for repair. Weather permitting, repairs are scheduled for completion by mid-April. The repairs are on schedule. The remaining sections are listed below.

Learn how the brain works and how we can maximize our potential to lead a more productive life.  Vicki Hinesley, M.Ed. will lead a discussion on eating food as nature provides it and how it affects our ability to prevent cognitive decline, cardiovascular disease, and cancer. Transportation will be provided, departing The REC at 10:30 am.

Mustang-Panther Stadium Ribbon Cutting – Friday, March 22 

GCISD is hosting a ribbon cutting and grand opening for the newly renovated Mustang-Panther Stadium. Please join us for a brief ceremony outside the stadium followed by tours of the facility. A commemorative shirt will be available after the ribbon cutting for the first 500 guests. Guests are invited to remain, free of admission, for the Red Rail soccer games between GHS and CHHS boys and girls soccer teams at 6:30 pm and 8 pm, respectively.

Day Out with ThomasTM The Steam Team Tour – Tickets Now Available

For those with a more competitive side, the Thursday night league is just for you. It is a recreational league and teams have a higher skill set. Keep Grapevine Beautiful invites you to help support our Don’t mess with Texas Trash-Off® event on Saturday, April 6. This annual event encourages Texans to volunteer and clear Texas roadsides of trash. As the single largest, one-day cleanup event in the state; it serves as the signature event for the Great American Cleanup. Projects include litter pick up and planting. All are welcome. 27th Annual New Vintage Wine and Gallery Trail & Blessing of the Vines – Saturday, April 13 
Raise a toast to the good life at Grapevine's 27th Annual New Vintage Wine and Gallery Trail & Blessing of the Vines. A “tasting passport” will be required and will serve as your ticket at the various wineries.  You may obtain your tasting passport at the Convention and Visitors Bureau, 636 South Main Street. Adding to the day’s festivities, the Blessing of the Vines will take place.  During this centuries-old tradition, a priest bestows a blessing on the vineyards for an upcoming fruitful season and harvest, and on the newly produced wines from the prior year's yield.  This event is for participants ages 21 and older (only).  To purchase tickets and for additional information, please visit GrapevineTexasUSA.com.

Raise a toast to the good life at Grapevine's 27th Annual New Vintage Wine and Gallery Trail & Blessing of the Vines. A “tasting passport” will be required and will serve as your ticket at the various wineries. You may obtain your tasting passport at the Convention and Visitors Bureau, 636 South Main Street. Adding to the day’s festivities, the Blessing of the Vines will take place. During this centuries-old tradition, a priest bestows a blessing on the vineyards for an upcoming fruitful season and harvest, and on the newly produced wines from the prior year's yield. This event is for participants ages 21 and older (only).
