City of Grapevine, Texas > Individual Departments > Purchasing

The City of Grapevine, through the public bid process, has entered into various annual comoddity contracts in order to establish fixed annual pricing for repetitive commodity purchases. Establishing annual contracts saves the City administrative costs by reducing the need for multiple bids or quotations, purchase requests, purchase orders and other administrative costs while stabilizing prices over a period of time.

The contracts are generally for one year and most contain renewal options for additional one year periods upon approval by the City Council.
