After filing an initial report with the Uniform Operation Division, all reports will be forwarded to the Criminal Investigations Division for further investigation and or filing with the District Attorney’s Office. Captain Luna commands the Criminal Investigations Division (CID), which consists of nineteen sworn Police Officers/Detectives and four civilians. The division is comprised of five primary investigative sections. Daily operations are under the guidance of a Lieutenant and three Sergeants.
Lieutenant Todd Dearing

Lieutenant Dearing oversees the day to day operations of the division and directly supervises the three CID Sergeants. He is also the Public Information Officer dealing with Media Relations.
