Communities Against Crime 5K Run and 1 Mile Walk
The program is sponsored by Community Partners of Tarrant County and numerous law enforcement agencies in Tarrant County.  All of the proceeds are donated to Community Partners of Tarrant County, which is a non-profit, charitable organization benefiting abused and neglected children served by Child Protective Services.

Grapevine Business Crime Prevention Initiative
This initiative is a partnership with citizens, businesses, and civic organizations to facilitate and coordinate efforts to reduce crime through the development, promation and implementation of effective crime prevention based strategies.

Grapevine Tourism Crime Prevention Network
The network partners with tourism related businesses, hotels, resorts, and other City of Grapevine departments to facilitate and coordinate efforts to reduce crime through the development , promotion, and implementation of effective crime prevention based strategies in an effort to promote a safer environment for the tourism industry.

Help End Auto Theft (H.E.A.T.) Program
The program authorizes your vehicle to be stopped by an officer to determine ownership if the vehicle is being operated between the hours of 1:00 A.M. and 5:00 A.M.  Decals are placed on the front and rear windows.

Home Inspection
This provides an inspection of your home or business by a certified Crime Prevention Officer.  The requirements are set forth by the State Board of Insurance and may result in a reduction in your homeowner's insurance (5% to 20%).

Neighborhood Watch
The program encourages residents to get to know each other, to watch each others home and vehicles for suspicious activites.  The program also teaches residents regarding suspicious behavior and how to report violations.   

Operation Identification
Operation Identification is a program designed to discourage the theft of valuables from your home.  You, the householder, place an identifying marks (usually a driver's license number) on items of value that could be stolen.

Project Child Safe
This program is a nationwide project whose purpose is to promote safe firearms handling and storage practices amound all firearms owners through the distribution of key safety education messages and free gun locking devices.

Safety Fairs
The program provides educational material to educate the public about personal safety, whether it is at your home, place of emplyment or while you are visiting an establishment.

VIN Etching
Your Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) is permanently etched (acid etch) into the major windows of a vehicle.  VIN etching is a theft deterrent and may entitle you to an auto insurance premium discount.
