Bears on Patrol
Bears on Patrol is a program where toy bears are provided to officers to give to children when a situation arises, such as a domestic crisis.  New bears are donated from civic organizations and citizens.

Bicycle Rodeos
Bicycle Rodeos educates youth about the proper use of a bicycle and safety equipment.  It is a hands on course that provides basic fundamentals.

Child Identification
This a child fingerprinting program that allows parents to maintain a record of essential information that would be needed in case of an emergency.

Child Passenger Safety Seat Inspection
This is a program where parents and caregivers receive education and hands-on assistance with the proper use of child restraint systems and seat belts.

Educational Programs for Children:
Career Day:  Police Officers attend local schools to educate children about law enforcement.
Eddie Eagle:  A gun accident prevention program for children.
McGruff:  Educates children about crime awareness and stranger danger.
Officer Friendly:  Allows children to become acquainted with the police officer's job and uniform.
Red E Fox:  Teaches children about the proper use of 9-1-1.

Police Department Tours:
Children and adults are given a tour of the Grapevine Police Department, plus an overview and tour of police equipment and vehicles.
