Facility Reservations
The Parks and Recreation Department offers pavilions and meeting rooms to its citizens for meetings and/or events. There is a minimal charge for the rental of the Bessie Mitchell House and the Merlot Community Room and you must be a Grapevine resident/Grapevine Business Owner to reserve one of these two facilities. Non-Grapevine residents may reserve the Trawick Pavilion, Jackson Pavilion, Bear Creek Park Pavilion, Pickering Park Pavilion, Parr Park Pavilion, and Dove Park pavilions only.
Bessie Mitchell House
This facility is located at 411 Ball Street (get directions) and is ideal for meetings, family reunions and/or small parties. The Mitchell House is equipped with a small kitchen, a refrigerator, ice maker and microwave. Tables and chairs are also available. This facility is fully handicapped accessible. Parking is available for 35 vehicles (maximum); therefore, this facility is ideal for small groups. The rental fee is $50.00 per hour for general use and includes Grapevine Business Seminars. All Commercial Rentals (vendor/sale of items) require a fee of $100.00 per hour. Rental fee must be paid in full at time of reservation booking. Additionally, a $100.00 damage deposit is required at time of reservation booking. Rentals are a minimum of two (2) hours and a maximum of nine (9) hours.
Botanical Gardens at Heritage Park
This venue is located at 411 Ball Street (get directions). This exceptionally beautiful garden is available for your perfect wedding. The fee is $400.00 for three (3) hours. The Bessie Mitchell House is included with this fee. An additional $400.00 deposit is due and payable no later than thirty (30) days prior to the scheduled event.
Merlot Community Room
Located at 4500 Merlot Avenue (located next to Fire Station No. 4 get directions). The Merlot Room is commonly used for meetings and parties. Tables and chairs are available. There is no kitchen available at this facility. The rental fee for general use is $25.00 per hour. The rental fee for Grapevine Business Seminars is $50.00 per hour. All Commercial Rentals (vendor/sale of items) require a fee of $100.00 per hour. Rental fee must be paid in full at time of reservation booking. Additionally, a $50.00 damage deposit is required at time of reservation booking. Rentals are a minimum of two (2) hours and a maximum of nine (9) hours.
Dove Park Pavilions
Two picnic pavilions are located in Dove Park in North Grapevine (get directions). The North Pavilion is equipped with picnic tables to accommodate up to 48 people. The South Pavilion, located near Casey's Clubhouse playground, is equipped with picnic tables to accommodate up to 24 people. Both pavilions are convenient to Dove Pool. Grapevine resident fee: $30.00 for the first three (3) hours and $10.00 each additional hour. Non-resident fee: $40.00 for the first three (3) hours and $15.00 each additional hour. Minimum rental time: Three (3) hours and a maximum of nine (9) hours.
Parr Park Pavilion
Consistently rated as the best public park in Northeast Tarrant County; Parr Park pavilion can host large group functions. Parr Park Pavilion is located at 3010 Parr Lane (get directions). Group size for this pavilion is limited; please inquire with the Recreation Services Secretary if considering a large function at this site. Picnic table seating is available for up to 80 people. A grill is available for use. Grapevine resident fee: $70.00 for the first three (3) hours and $20.00 each additional hour. Non-resident fee: $100.00 for the first three (3) hours and $25.00 each additional hour. Minimum rental time: Three (3) hours and the maximum is nine (9) hours.
Trawick Pavilion
Located in Oak Grove Park on Lake Grapevine, this pavilion is ideal for large family and/or corporate gatherings. The pavilion seats up to 260 people and has two large barbecue grills. Open space is available for games or other entertainment. Restrooms are within short walking distance. Trawick Pavilion is located at 2700 Darren G. Medlin Trail (get directions). Grapevine Resident Fee: $300.00/day Non-Resident Fee: $340.00/day
