Volunteer Opportunities Await You

We are searching for very special folks who wish to share their knowledge, skills and time by becoming volunteers. Our volunteers range from early teens to senior citizens, willing to GIVE three hours or more a week. All volunteers receive on the job training and become an integral part of the library staff.

Circulation Assistant
- Assist patrons at the circulation desk
- Check in magazines
- File
- Answer telephone

Circulation Clearer
- Check books in on computer
- Sort returned items

Shelver/Page
- Return items to shelves using Dewey Decimal System
- Check shelves for misplaced items

Technical Processing Aide
- Process new books and media

Children’s Librarian Aide
- Assist with special programs

G.I.V.E. is a very successful program involving concerned members of the community working with staff members in a concerted effort to expand services to the Grapevine Library Community.
