EVENTS

The Story of Johnny Appleseed
Johnny Appleseed will forever be remembered as a man of peace and goodwill as this story unfolds with the help of the children playing the parts of Settlers, Native Americans, and Apple Pickers.  This interactive and educational program will be presented at Family Storytime on Thursday, September 16th at 7 pm.

The Electric Magic Show
Magician Brett Roberts will appear at Family Storytime on Thursday, September 23rd at 7 pm with his Electric Magic Show.  This innovative magic show combines lots of audience participation with magic and lighting effects. The performance is designed to give children all the attention. During the show, the children actually cause many of the tricks to happen. Things will appear in their hands! They will read someone*s mind! They will make the magic happen!  Join us for the Electric Magic Show where you'll have "watts" of fun!

Chess Club
Chess Club at Grapevine Public Library will meet every Saturday from Sept. 11th through Nov. 20th from 1 to 2 pm in the Children's Program Room. All ages and levels are welcome; instruction will be provided. If you have an extra chess set, please bring it along.
