Demographics and Business Facts
The linked Demographic Snapshots and Business Facts reports provide
recent demographic and economic information on Grapevine and the surrounding areas. The data was prepared in January, 2003. The information in the Demographics Snapshot includes population, race, age, income, households, poverty status, employment, mode of transportation and travel time to work, housing values and housing year of construction. The Business Facts, located at the end of the Demographic Snapshot includes total numbers of employees and stores involved in various business activities as well as dominant business types.
The reports are separated into three separate reports depending upon the area of interest. The first report provides data for the City of Grapevine itself. The second report gives information for areas within 5 mile and 10 mile radii from the City center, (north of S.H. 114, between Main Street and Minters Chapel Road). These radii are typically of interest to retail and service types of businesses. The third report provides information for the 50 mile and 200 mile radii from the City center or those areas typically of interest in tourism and hospitality.
