Solicitor Regulations

Each individual soliciting door-to-door in the City of Grapevine is required to obtain a photo permit and must display their permit at all times.  Failure to show proof of a solicitor's permit is a violation of Chapter 17 of the Grapevine Code of Ordinances.  Solicitor permits are issued by the City Secretary's Office in conjunction with the Grapevine Police Department.

To obtain a permit:

1. Applications are accepted by appointment only through the City Secretary's Office, First Floor, 200 South Main Street between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., Monday-Friday.  Call 817-410-3182 to schedule an appointment.
2. The Police Department investigates all applicants.
3. Background check fees are $65.00 per applicant.
4. Permit fees are $50 for the first person/vendor and $20.00 for each additional permit.

Hours of Solicitation
Monday - Saturday, 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m., excluding the following: Sundays or any other Federally designated holiday or on any day where the Department of Homeland Security has declared an Orange or Red State of Alert.
