Building Inspections Department
The Building Inspections Department provides for the health and safety of the community through the development and enforcement of the City's Building Code, other related codes, the Code of Ordinances, and the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance.
Code Enforcement is an important part of the Building Inspection Department. The Code Enforcement Officers handle many nuisance complaints such as high weeds and grass, junk vehicles on private property, and dangerous buildings.
