Sales Tax
A sales tax is imposed on all retail sales, leases and rentals of most goods, as well as taxable services. The State of Texas imposes a rate of 6 1/4% (.0625). As of April 1, 2007 the City of Grapevine imposes an additional local sales tax of 2% (.02) for a combined total of
state and local sales tax of 8 1/4% (.0825).
Property Tax
The City of Grapevine is proposing a property tax rate of
$0.35 per $100 of valuation
for fiscal year 2011. For example, the owner of a home assessed at $200,000 will owe taxes of $700.00.
