Sharron Spencer,  a Native Texan, has been a Grapevine resident since 1975. She took early retirement from American Airlines in 1995, and was Vice President of Spencer Engineering, Inc.

She was a member of the Planning & Zoning Commission for six years, serving as Chair for four years, served on the Main Street Committee, Festivals Commission and has been a Co-Chair of GrapeFest.

She is a Charter Member of the Grapevine Heritage Foundation, has served on the Baylor Hospital Development Council, is a member of the Chamber of Commerce, and she and Mr. Spencer chaired the Chamber's Building Committee for their current facility.

Mrs. Spencer was elected to the City Council in April 1985, and has been re-elected every three years since, most recently in May 2006.
