Mike Lease moved to Grapevine in 1985, where he started a custom home building business. He is currently the president/owner of a commercial general contracting firm that specializes in healthcare construction throughout Texas.

Mike has served as president of the Grapevine American Business Club (AMBUCS), chairman of the Grapevine Chamber of Commerce, and as a director for the Grapevine Heritage Foundation. He serves on the Advisory Board of Directors for Bank of the West.

Mike has a son, Stephen, who is a graduate of the University of North Texas and now works in the family business, and a daughter, Nicole, who attends Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas.

Mike and his wife, Carolyn, are both very active in the community, and volunteer regularly for Main Street Days, GrapeFest and Nash Farm.
