Mike Lease moved to Grapevine in 1985, where he started a custom home building business. He is currently the president/owner of a commercial general contracting firm that specializes in healthcare construction throughout Texas.

Mike has served as president of the Grapevine American Business Club (AMBUCS), chairman of the Grapevine Chamber of Commerce, and as a director for the Grapevine Heritage Foundation. He serves on the Advisory Board of Directors for Bank of the West.

Mike has a son, Stephen, who is a graduate of the University of North Texas and now works in the family business, and a daughter, Nicole, who is a graduate of Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas and lives and works in Austin Texas.

Mike's  wife, Carolyn, is also very active in the community, serves on the board of directors for the Woman's Division of the Grapevine Chamber of Commerce and serves on the steering committee for both  Main Street Days and GrapeFest. Both Mike and Carolyn volunteer at Nash Farm.
