Latinos in Grapevine

Latinos in Grapevine

We want to congratulate Yvette Lopez with Latinos in Grapevine, Jorge Rodriguez with GCISD, Arturo Alarcon with 121 Community Church, Haydee Young with our Grapevine Community Outreach Center and Lt. Ronnie Gutierrez with Grapevine Police for a successful year of educational programming for the Grapevine Hispanic Community.

Throughout the year these individuals presented, or arranged presenters, to teach about various topics including: interacting with police, immigration and citizenship, volunteering, social media safety, STAAR testing, computer and mobile apps, college admissions and how to pay for it, and personal finances. Different times and locations were held to facilitate participation and be flexible for work schedules.

Many of our officers and professional staff not only serve this community - we live here, too. We are so blessed to share knowledge and learn from each other. We look forward to even more of these classes in 2023!
